Mardan, Swabi, Charsadda and Buner, these four districts in Pakistan are fairly underfunded. Not many opportunities are available for the residents of these districts in Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa. AGAHI in collaboration with Philip Morris International intends on providing practical vocational training, and job placement opportunities for up to 480 men and women. The program will also look into the possibility of offering micro-credit consultation small business management training. In its pilot phase, the project aims to improve lives of the local community members; while also focusing on creating a cadre of journalists trained to report on economic development challenges and opportunities.
