Briefing on Realtime Delphi Study held at Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS)

August 23 2017, Islamabad: A session on Realtime Delphi (RTD) Study was held at the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS) in Islamabad. AGAHI’s Research and Projects Coordinators Arsalan Sajid and Hasan Saeed gave a demonstration of the RTD module to the participants at the think tank.

Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS) is a collaborative-partner of AGAHI, the think tank has contributed immensely in analysis of variables selected for Pakistan State of Future Index (PK-SOFI) – Anticipating 2027. PICSS provided valuable input on weightage of selected variables including ‘Number of people killed or injured in Terrorist Attacks’ to develop a baseline for Pakistan State of Future Index (PK-SOFI).

Initial meeting with the Managing Director PICSS, Mr. Abdullah Khan was focused on Foresight Lab and the RTD module, providing critical feedback on improving the overall user experience. AGAHI team explained to him the computation process and methodology employed for creating PK-SOFI.

During the Interactive Session with the participants a hands on demonstration on how to use Realtime Delphi (RTD) module of the Foresight lab, that is, from creation of RTD profile to filling out of RTD and various variables used in the study will facilitate a greater understanding towards improving the wellbeing of the people of Pakistan.
